Fluorocarbon Leader vs Mono Leader
NiteBite
I recently watched several very compelling videos on Fluorocarbon Leader vs Mono Leader material. These videos really made me question the claims that we are led to believe about fluorocarbon.

I was wondering what type of leader material our club members are using and there thoughts on this subject.

HI Bruce,  Could you send the link to the video to hear what they presented.

I attached a few links to the original post I made.
I only use fluorocarbon leaders when I target Albies. For my go to leader I use 50lb QUATTRO Monofiliment line. This line is Camouflage in color and I've been using this for my leaders the last 25+ years.

My leaders are tied during the winter months. They are all tied using a swivel & a TA clip. They are all about 37 inches long and tested for strength and possible failure. If they pass the test I apply a drop of super glue to the knots. Once dry I pack some in my plug bags or store them in a tackle box for future use.

This mono comes in 1/4 pound spools and is much, much cheaper than floro and I have full faith in them.
