Need recommendation small reel
Hello Club Members, hoping for some guidance. I won used 7' surf rod early 2024 at a club meeting. It looks custom and it has this reel. Any suggestions on a replacement reel? I'm thinking the braid should have 10-15 lb., but I could be way off. Unsure who donated the combo. Only 58 days until opening day! Thx. Paul T.That was a good reel when that came out. If you don't want to break the bank you might want to look at the Shimano Spheros SW in a 3000 or 4000 size. They run about $130. Daiwa BG 2500 or BG 3000. They cost about the same.
